Charlie graduates high school with a Sailing Scholarship to Stanford University. He and Sam make a promise that they will play baseball together everyday until he goes to Stanford. Charlie is supposed to meet his friends for a party before they left for basic training, but he got put on Sam duty. He tries to sneak out, but Sam catches him.
